Comfortable, sporty, gender-bending.

Tell us about your favorite pair of jeans ever.

I have this vintage pair that fits perfectly—has a long inseam and hugs my waist just right. I sometimes wear them five days in a row and don’t wash them because they’re too good. Great jeans boost my confidence big time.

Can you share any denim memories?

I used to wear my brother’s baggy jeans and use a shoelace as a belt to keep them from falling down (I still do this sometimes).

What are you looking forward to this spring?

Putting the rest of my music out and getting back on stage. That’s where I feel the most alive.

If you could keep one thing from the shoot, what would it be?

The trench coat. It’s a timeless item that’s hard to nail and I’ve never seen one in this specific color and fabric.
